Known as the Cathedral of the Moor this famous village holds a huge attraction for summer tourists and the church is rumoured to be the most visited in the country.

Although the church is surrounded by Dartmoor, this lovely church with its late Perpendicular towers nestles attractively in a fold of hills. There is a lot to see inside and a visit is highly recommended – look out most particularly for its roof bosses above the nave and the remaining base of an ancient rood screen.
