The Devon Historic Churches Trust was established in 1972 to help with the preservation and maintenance of the 1000 places of worship of all denominations across the county.
Since then it has given grants to assist with repairs, restoration, refurbishment and maintenance both inside and outside of historic churches in the Diocese of Exeter.
Grants have also helped provide heating and lighting, to improve seating and to make churches more comfortable. The churches helped have been in both towns and the countryside. The Trust considers any application, large or small, and details of how to apply can be found on the following page.
